Our flight was delayed 3 hrs. Once we landed in midway our rental car took over 2 hrs to get. Contacted Hampton inn regarding all the delays. They were very accommodating and assured me that they would make our few hours a great experience. The front desk customer service lady at 230am was very friendly and helpful. She’ had great customer service! Thank you Hampton inn for the few hours that made us feel at home!

2 things which I found to be troublsome are not having a microwave in the room. I have never stayed in a room which did not have a microwave! I had to go down several times to the lobby to heat up food. Also, there arn't many hotels ive ever stayed that didn't have some kind of breakfast offered. My last evening I had a glass of cranberry juice and woke up to thousands of ants in the glass and all over the table and bed sheets. My suggestion to remedy some of the situations, maybe offer microwaves upon request? Spray for ants? On the bright side! The rooms were very cozy and the bed very comfortable.JulieUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
St. Charles is a wonderful place to visit.
St. Charles is a wonderful place to visit. We saw a concert at the Arcada Theater which is a cool old venue downtown. We ate at Riverside Pizza. The pizza was OK but the cocktails were great. The Colonial across the street had good food and better ice cream. I'd stay away from the Tuscan Club, tho. And the Tasty Biscuit was super delicious in a cool place with great service. Unfortunately, we were there on a stormy weekend so we didn't do a lot of sightseeing. We did drive around a bit and take in some of the sights. The river is cool and so are the old homes. But I also didn't mind spending time watching football either. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed in this particular hotel. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were flat. Continental breakfast was poor - lack of choices, no hot dishes, had to ask for limited food choices that were there. Taxi was easy to obtain from O'Hare airport. Was in the area to visit family but had a few hours to kill and Potowamie park was fantastic. Could have spent a whole day there. So much to do with family. Also, St. Charles has a cute downtown area that's very walkable.CarolynUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
Cute little town along the river.

My Sister came in for 3 days to visit from Georgia. Saint Charles is a wonderful place to visit. The exception was Pheasant Run. Traveler beware. If you decide to stay at this hotel, be aware of their "Sorry, computers are down" excuseBobbieUnited States of America
